CARE Paradigm Mental Health Awareness II

Mental Health Understanding

This paradigm focuses on individuals who has accepted, and understand the reality of living with a mental illness. Here we practice different techniques that it takes to build and maintain a structured foundation while enhancing the current knowledge about mental illness. Embracing the tools that they have earned from previous education, individuals continue to come to terms of what it’s like to have a mental illness and apply practical tools to assist in resolving conflicts that occur due to day to day stressors. Being comfortable with yourself and continuing to take positive steps towards improving your quality of life is what our goal is with this paradigm and the educational tools present to accomplish this task are: Stress Management, Harm Reduction, Emotions, Healthy Choices:, ADD, Stigmas, Anxiety, and Purpose.
