CARE Paradigm Substance Disorder
This paradigm focuses primarily on Relapse Prevention.
This paradigm looks at the history of stigmas and the impact it serves in society today. We look at how a process group functions and how to be part of this dynamic thought provoking experience. We follow the trail of how relapse works and identify ways to stop this process. We practice communication skills beginning with the sender all the way to the receiver. We explore different ideas on how to identify trends in negative behavior and apply different methods on how to slow down and change the course of the consequences that they create. We initiate techniques to improve and develop trust. We examine different ways to enhance ourselves with spirituality. We identify the reasons behind anger and begin to take steps on how to manage this emotion effectively.
